About Us

Dema’s Academy LLC is a privately-owned and fully accredited career school located in the heart of Laurel, Maryland. It opened its doors in 2010. The owner is a seasoned nurse whose career spans over 20 years of bedside and clinical experience as well as nursing instruction. Since the school went operational, it has graduated hundreds of nursing assistants who have gone ahead to have satisfying careers in hospitals and care / Nursing homes. Some have been inspired to become full RNs.

We value our students as we understand their aspirations and desire to work in this demanding industry. Our mission is to provide a high-quality education that will enable our graduates to be successful in the business of nursing.

Purpose

The purpose of the program is to offer an educational opportunity that provides students with knowledge, skills and behaviors necessary to function as a beginning practitioner as certified nursing assistants.

Our mission is to provide basic nursing education to students from diverse backgrounds and to provide the community with entry level nursing personnel capable of meeting the challenges in the allied health fields.

General Information Purpose & Objectives Purpose – to provide education and training that will prepare students to acquire entry level employment as Nursing Assistants (NA) in the healthcare field. NA’s can find employment in home health, hospital, clinic, extended care, acute care, and assisted living care facilities.

Objectives

Demas Academy is carefully designed to integrate classroom theory and relevant practical experience. The student upon successful completion of the program will be able to:

  • Instill the knowledge and skills necessary for the successful completion of their program;
  • Work toward achieving the highest possible rate of program completion.
  • Obtain the highest level of education available in the medical field
  • Prepare students for careers that provide exceptional job opportunities and many avenues for personal growth, professional development, and advancement.
  • Gain insight from graduates, alumni, and employers to fine-tune the program;
  • Continually evaluate the certification program to ensure that its completion, placement, and passing rates are maintained. and
  • Check the pass rates for all graduates through an honest and transparent recordkeeping process.
